• The Enneagram

The Enneagram is a personality system that classify personality into nine major types. It helps us understand our own and others' behaviours, thoughts, and inner motivations in a systematic way. Though all of us has a core type, we believe that we can embrace the attributes of the 9 types. The key lies in using the Enneagram to gain clearer insight into our own habitual patterns and tendencies and develop a stronger self awareness.

Over the past century, the Enneagram has been widely applied in various fields, including corporate training, psychological counseling, career development, artistic performance, and spiritual guidance. Many multinational companies such as IBM, HP, and Walt Disney use the Enneagram as a tool for leadership development and team communication. Prominent universities in Europe and America, such as Stanford University and the University of California, Berkeley, also include the Enneagram as a study topic.

The Levels of Functioning describes a range of emotional and behavioural states that individuals within each Enneagram Type can experience. It reflects dynamic nature the personality patterns themselves. We have probably noticed that people change constantly. Sometimes we are more conscious and able to demonstrate the healthy aspects of that Type, while at challenging times, we become rigid and defensive. This Above and Below the Line concepts provide a framework for us to check in with ourselves ad evaluate our thoughts, emotions, and behaviours in a given moment.
